Heather
her Fracture, and Sicily.
Heather has been laid low in recent weeks after an excellent summer
of racing.
Heather suffered a stress fracture in her ankle, which has only recently
been diagnosed, a few days after her excellent run in the GB 50k champs
.
The leg has been plastered up so she won't be able to compete for several
weeks and her places in both World and European 50k and 100k races have
had to be relinquished.
Heather is delighted as the organizers in Sicily have invited Heather
to attend as a special guest, although unable to run. Heather won the
race two years ago and became 50km European Champion. Palmero holds
precious memories for her and she flys out on october 12th.
